He had three younger siblings... Two Brothers ( Sydney and Milton ) and a single Sister ( Libbie per census records and Lydia in a newspaper account )

The Owen family would immigrate to the United States two years after Charles Hamilton's birth and the same year in which his younger Brother Sydney Bergin Owen is born in 1883...

They would settle in rural Micanopy, Florida where Patriarch Charles Edward Owen became a successful business owner in the field of wholesale produce... By the mid 1890's the family journey's Southward, landing in Tampa, Florida...

Charles Hamilton would marry his Wife Caridad in their new home City and together they would have a single child although the family would soon experience heartbreaking tragedy.... Young Charles was inflicted with "Consumption" which is what they called tuberculosis at the time... He will lose his life at the age of 22 on Christmas Eve in 1903 leaving behind a young Wife and infant...

His Father Charles Edward Owen's life also met a sudden end three years later in a New Orleans hotel where he was attending a Confederate reunion...
