Mr. Glaviano as stated above has very few definitive public records. Part of the problem is that his name, and age are misrepresented in a multitude of ways, possibly because of language barriers important information was not properly recorded

We have been able to determine that he immigrated from Sicily to New York Harbor and Ellis Island before settling in New Orleans, Louisiana where he marries his Wife Josephine in 1905. Together they would have two children, a single Son and Daughter. The small family would relocate to the Sunshine State of Florida and City of Tampa where Mr. Glaviano works with his hands in several different general labor positions

Before the Sun had risen on Wednesday January 30th, 1918 Rosario began working on his first day as a section hand with the Atlantic Coast Line Railway.

( A section hand laid and maintained railroad tracks in the years before the work was done by machines )

Rosario along with several fellow workmen were sitting on a hand car when a flying switch struck the car with such force, Mr Glaviano is throne beneath the moving trains wheels cutting his body in half and completely severing one of his arms. He died instantly.
